Muri Music: The summer of 2006 saw the beginning of Muri’s (Murad Mahmoud) musical and lyrical experimentations. Inspired by a sharp pencil and an empty piece of paper at his desk, he began writing about everything from Monogamy to Politics. And love of course.

1st single: Monogamy Policy Who said that love cannot be connected with politics? Muri’s first single Monogamy Policy is based on monogamy in the ‘dating arena’. Are you a polygamist, who collects phone-numbers like stamps or a true monogamist with only one sexual partner? Monogamy Policy is like other policies a ‘way of acting’, and very current today, where the ‘playa-syndrome’ is everywhere. Turn on MTV and you will see for yourself! The single is on its way to hit the radio stations and the music-video will, hopefully, bee seen on MTV soon. How ironic!

Murad Mahmoud in acting: Murad entered the Danish movie-scene in Wollabee, Zentropa Prod. (aka Kald Mig Bare Aksel) in 2002, but not until the end of 2005 he got his first big role in the teenage-movie Råzone, Zentropa prod. The movie was released in 2006 and sold 108.000 cinema tickets, which is very good by Danish standards. After this huge success Murad has been offered roles in different theater-plays and movies, but Murad is set to choosing future roles with caution. Murad’s newest project is in the Danish hit-series Anna Pihl, Cosmo, where he is to be seen as Ralid in episode 14 (5. marts 2007 - TV2).
