artist and music composer/producerI took to producing music as soon as I discovered a general midi sound module, a sequencer and a midi cable to connect the two. Then add an Akai sampler...and I was hooked!Driven and energized by music, I have studied music technology, music theory and sound engineering. I've also had lessons in piano, guitar, drums, saxophone and singing... which have brought me up to a basic level of playing and have enabled a good understanding of their application within writing and production.I grew up in a family of classical musicians and was lucky enough to be able to go to performances at The Royal Opera House and various other classical concerts in London. As a teenager I was a huge Bowie fan and then by my late teens discovered the energy and excitement of electronic dance music and hip hop.I love the way music soothes, energizes and holds memories. For me it is a continuous soundtrack to life and something I hold very dear. Music is a companion that will be there for you in all experiences and moods, from a three minute Beatles song to Bowie's Low album. From the opera Carmen to an eight minute quantized thumping electronic dance track. It's all good!
