About Me

Mr. Toby Keith and I share more than just looks. When people first started telling me that I looked like him, my wife and I decided to look into his background. We knew some of his music, but we didn't know anything about Toby himself. As we started to look into his background, what we found were some really strange similarities. We're both about the same size, he's an inch taller than me at 6'4". We both played semi-pro football, one position apart. He's very patriotic and I spent 6 years in the military. We're both very big supporters of our men and women in the military. Toby is the spokesman for Ford trucks and I've been driving Ford trucks before I ever knew who Toby Keith was.A couple of years ago, I got up the nerve to start singing. People kept saying, "You look like him, can you sing?" Well, I got brave one night at a bar that was doing kareoke. I loved it! Now, you have a hard time keeping me away from a mic. I really love to entertain people. I've started to do birthday parties and corperate events.Last year, I started working with a couple of charities. Both deal with special needs children. both Special Blessings (http://www.ncneighbors.com/main.wsi?group_id=1683 )and Smiles 4 Little Faces are local organizations that help families with handicapped children. I'm always happy to volunteer my time to help them. For me, children are the best. They are the most honest, pure souls on Gods Earth.Last year, I did my first tv commercial for Pizza Inn. My wife and I had the best time on the set. I became hooked on acting at that point. When a local radio station (FM99 www.999genuinecountry.com ) asked me to appear in their tv spot, I jumped at the chance. I love doing tv.
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

My Interests

Big fan of music, almost any type. I also love military aircraft and I have a bit of an interest in science. I've had the chance to travel a bit, mostly due to military service. Check out the map below...

I'd like to meet:

There are so many people that I'd like to meet. People like Chuck Yeager and Neil Armstrong. As for people on myspace, I like friendly people. Just be nice and don't be afraid to state an opinion. Most important, be honest about who you are and what you believe.

Music:

Mostly country, but I'll listen to just about anything except pop, hiphop, or rap. My favorite band is without a dought, Flynnville Train.

Movies:

Stars Wars (I'm a bit of a geek) The Green Mile Old Ray Harryhousin (sp?) movies like The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad and that sorta stuff

Television:

House, Nashville Star, Just about all things SciFi related. Star Trek (any of the series). I'm going to miss Reba, she has the best comedy on tv.

Books:

Mostly Dean Koontz novels, but I enjoy a good read regardless of author.

Heroes:

My grandfather on my moms side. He was one of those guys that could build anything, fix everything, and was just great to be around. He passed away almost 20 years ago, and I still miss him. He was my best friend. Here's one of my Hero's: This poem is copywritten and cannot be used or reprinted without my permission.

Ford vs. Chevy
