J-won (Jason Smalling) singer/song writer/producer,was introduced to music, singing in particular, at a very tender age. Having a christian background, he was exposed to gospel music. Being a fan of the softer side of music influenced by gospel, was drawn to soul and r&b, where his true inner expression manifested in mind in heart and in spirit. An everyday hunger for music lead him towards a career in the field.
