Born and raised in a family of mixed culture and religion. Janese was exposed to many different types of music . Her father realized that she had a talent unlike anyone so without words he exposed her more to reggae.
She began singing gospel as a child but later fell in love with what she called her true self reggae. She then experimented with r&b.She began doing music just for fun after which she took it very serious
She is now one of Jamaica's top talent in the making and on the rise.
She runs and own her own recording studio and label alongside her partner biggs. (Jan-Biggs production)
It is hard in Jamaica as a woman to even consider being in the field,but her determination is pushing her on the right path.
This is not the first or last thing on her mind.
She is determined to see that female has the opportunity to dominate a field where men now. dominates.
