Eastern Sunz shed light on political and environmental issues that fail to be addressed by most rap artists today. Originally hailing from Oregon and currently residing in Seattle, the Sunz are rapidly building a solid fan base and gaining respect throughout the West Coast for their unique approach to hip-hop. Formed in 2001, the Sunz have since released four full-length albums and performed with numerous artists including KRS-One, Blackalicious, Living Legends, J-Live, The Coup, and have toured with Rahzel and Andre Nickotina. In 2007 Eastern Sunz released their fourth album, Nine Traingles.
