Impossible Things

About Me

~ Jez ~ I joined the band last. Or rather, I'm the weirdo who waltzed out of cyberspace and into the lives of John and Tom to form the band now known as Impossible Things. It wasn't so long ago; the idea that I might play bass for them first happened at the start of 2006. I was thinking of playing bass again after a 9 year break ,and at the time I was wasting many enjoyable hours playing an online game involving guns and war. I'm a total pacifist but we all need our escape, right? So anyway whilst choosing my new guitar online, Tom, who was my fellow Battlefield 2 player, asked me to join his clan, and being flattered I accepted. To cut a long story short, he put a request out on the clan forum for a bass player- the guys had had much difficulty in recruiting someone to play bass for them and I imagine it was a shot in the dark more than anything, but nothing ventured and all that. . . . . so here we are. It took a while for me to reacquaint myself with my instrument so I guess we officially formed in October 2006. The exact date is lost in a pint of lager somewhere in New Cross.
