Porno Tongue has been together since 2000. It all got started by getting a Halloween show at the Green Door Pub, but only as a joke. After seeing and hearing us, they booked us for a few more shows the following winter ski season. For a few years, all of Porno Tongue’s shows revolved around the winter skiing season.Porno Tongue started playing at the GDP every Wednesday of the Snowboarding US Open in 2001 and is now a staple of the event. With the start of the US Open shows, Porno Tongue started getting requests to play other events including skateboard contests, rail jams, free skier events, weddings, birthdays, and the infamous Vermont house parties.Soon Porno Tongue started developing a strong local following playing all around the mountain area including Grizzly’s, GDP, The Red Fox Inn, and The Foggy Goggle. With a little help from Porno Tongue’s friends and fans, Porno Tongue was able to start expanding their horizons by playing shows at the Alehouse in Portland, ME; King’s Tavern and Backstreet Billiard’s in Saratoga, NY; The Perfect Wife and Manchester Bar and Grill in Manchester, VT; The Weathervane in Brattleboro, VT; Pleasant Valley Inn in Youngsville, PA; not to mention some festivals in between.The 3 members of Porno Tongue all come from different musical backgrounds with their own influences, creating a not-so-average punk band. Their music is a wicked mix of punk, metal, glam, bluegrass, country, jam, ska, and reggae to make for a fun and unique sound.With their combined knowledge of theater and live show experience, they provide undeniable entertainment with an incomparable sound that will melt your face off.
