Writing since the age of 14, Fresh MC has become a formidable character in the underground scene. Championing Edinburgh while regularly rocking 500 strong crowds with the Discipline in the early millenium, the multi-talented MC went on to perform with big name DJs including Skitz, Hype and Nicky Blackmarket. Always looking for the chance to experiment and push an artform that can be so frustratingly linear, '07 saw Fresh hook up with local legend Whys. Forming 'the ICARUS', they went on to complete 'the monologues' to rave reviews. Cited as 'a post-apocalyptic masterpiece', the heady mix of electronica, hiphop, dnb and post-rock was regarded by critics as an underground classic of experimental hiphop. the ICARUS went on to play a live set on BBC Radio One, were nominated for a 4talent award by Channel 4 and saw their music used on TV adverts world wide.
