Madeleine

This isn't infinity; this is the suburbs!

About Me

Rank: Madeleine (French spelling), Dreams of: a break, Wakes up to: work work work, Pet Peeve: high school gossip, Needs: monogamy/to buy some flats, Famous For: "rumors" (as in not rumors, but true bits of gossip about my sex life)/cast party antics, Where found: giving a ride, Always says: "Wait...what?", Theme song: Laid, In ten years: Broadway...facebook me for some more info.

My Interests

Drama (acting, stage managering, anything to do with it), singing (especially a cappella, although I've found I a weird passion for classical music as well), yoga, shopping (especially for SHOES, an addiction of mine and the reason I have no money to go out anymore), seeing friends, Starbucks (another addiction), writing, etc.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone, everyone. Especially if you go to Kenyon. Especially if you like to act. Or maybe you like to sing. Or maybe you don't. People who understand my shoe addiction. People who have similar addictions. People who want to talk. People who get a little crazy sometimes. People who aren't afraid to hold anything back, who know who they are and you are proud of it. People who are controversial. People who don't try to change you. People who aren't afraid to change themselves. Funny people. Deep people. Intense people. Carefree people. People who know have to have a good conversation.

Music:

Anything and everything...changes moment to moment. Right now, in my current playlists are: the Killers, Matt Nathanson, Elliot Smith, Annie Lennox, Rachael Yamagata, Leonna Naess, Trespassers William, the Cranberries, Alanis Morisette, Natalie Merchant, Abra Moore, Natalie Imbruglia, Maroon 5, John Mayer, Aimee Mann, the Corrs, Butterfly Boucher, Bob Marley, Death Cab for Cutie, Snow Patrol, the Postal Service, Guster, Semisonic, Coldplay, Frou Frou, Ben Folds, U2, Iron and Wine, Keane, Travis, Blue Merl, REM, Jack Johnson, Jeff Buckley, Ben Harper, Howie Day, Usher, 50 Cent, DMB, the Shins, A Cappella, and LOTS of 60's, 70's, 80's music (Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, John Mellencamp, Bruce Springstein, Elton John, the Beatles, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, ACDC, Guns n Roses, the Grateful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eagles, the Kinks, the Clash, the Who, the Doors, Kansas, Journey, Aerosmith, Joni Mitchell, the Cars, Steely Dan, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel, Rolling Stones, Queen, etc.).

Movies:

Also changes depending on the mood. Anchorman, Napoleon Dynamite, both Shreks =), Office Space, anything Monty Python, Garden State, Lost in Translation, Closer, the Station Agent, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Memento, Fight Club, I Heart Huckabees, any Disney movie, Donnie Darko, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Life Aquatic, Caddyshack, French Kiss, Mean Girls, etc. A lot of others...I should get to the theaters more often.

Television:

I don't get to watch television very often because of my crazy schedule...but when I do get to watch, Gilmore Girls, Real World, other trashy reality shows I still enjoy, the OC, Friends, and the big one: Sex and the City! (It's bad. I'm addicted.)

Books:

Top books that have changed my life: The Invention of Solitude by Paul Auster, Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros, the Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood. And there are more. (If you can't tell, I'm a big reader).

Heroes:

Working on it...Mr. Stevens!?!
