About Me
Though my talent was first discovered at the age of three, when I was singing to the toys in my preschool class, the story of my career as a vocalist actually began before I was even born. After coming back from the Doctor my mother explained to my father that he doesn’t need to worry, she was not gaining weight because of a sickness, but because she was pregnant. The excitement once again was replaced by a worried feeling ten minutes later when my grandmother called from Israel, which never happened in the past because of the expense of long- distance phone calls. My grandmother explained that nothing was wrong, and asked my father, although uninformed of the pregnancy, if my mother was pregnant. Overhearing the conversation, my mother whispered to my father not to tell the news. My father answered that my mother was not pregnant, and asked my grandmother why she randomly called to ask such a question. My grandmother replied, saying that that night she had a dream that my mother was pregnant with a daughter, and when the daughter was older, she was performing on stages with thousands of lights, in a white gown, for an endless audience.
Nine months later, I was born, just as my grandmother had said, my voice and natural singing ability captures peoples’ hearts. My talent was discovered when I first began to speak – when I was taken from one class to another by my teachers in preschool in order to sing “Happy Birthday†as well as Disney songs to my fellow preschoolers. I have been singing and performing publicly since the early age of three. I am able to sing many types of music, including but not limited to, opera, classical music, musical style, Broadway, pop and country, and in a multitude of languages including English, Spanish, Italian, Hebrew, French, Arabic, and more.
Although so young, I was accepted into many competitions and organizations on behalf of my voice. At the age of five, and as the youngest of competitors, I was chosen to be one of fifty to compete in Israel’s “Star Search†television program. At the same year, and for the two years following, I was accepted into Israel’s national honorary choir as the youngest member of age five, which requires children to be ten years of age and to perform around the country. In the years following, I was also able to sing on radio stations throughout Israel, and at special events for government officials of different countries, such as Benjamin Netanyahu, former prime- minister of Israel, and Ehud Olmart, former mayor of Israel. By the age of ten, I recorded my first album, while cantering for different synagogues, called “L’Dor Va Dorâ€, which consisted of nineteen traditional prayers. During the coming years, I was invited to sing the national anthem as I opened games in front of crowds of 30,000 people for sports teams like the Florida Marlins professional baseball team, and the Florida Fusions professional soccer team. Volunteering by performing my own concerts for the mentally ill and for the elderly; I was able to give a gift of music to others that shared my love of music. Furthermore, I held my own concerts in communities like Boca Raton and Wellington [of Florida] where the concert tickets were quickly sold out.
Singing is the way I can express myself, it is my passion and the stage is my second home. Singing is my gift, and although it caused many social problems, I wouldn’t trade my gift for anything in the world. My voice is unique in a way that is different from others. People would come to hear me sing prayers in temple because they felt that my voice brought them closer to G-d. When my parents call my grandmother in Israel to brag that their little Kineret has performed here and there, my grandmother, unmoved says “What’s so surprising? I already told you that would happen!†I believe that G-d gave me a wonderful talent that once shared with others, spreads happiness and love. I intend to go far with my career in singing and know that one day my voice will be heard around the world and that it will inspire many to fulfill their dreams as well.
As a student, I am a hard-worker and am adored by my educators. I especially enjoy my English courses since I am fond of reading. I challenge myself academically and hold high expectations for myself. Yet, I hope to have a future career where I would be able to better challenge myself in the one subject I know best, singing.
Out of school, I am a very friendly and family-oriented girl who enjoys laughing and making others laugh as well. I enjoy drama as I have acted and sang as a main character in many school plays. I also enjoy sports like soccer and working out at the gym. My goals in life include succeeding as a performer, as a student, and as an individual that touches peoples’ hearts. I love singing and believe it to be something I could not live without.
