“Ceilalti†has formed in 2006. ViKloth and Boogie were members of DaCapo, with Eminescu. After collaboration with the latter ceased, creTzu joined the team. Because the new band needed, of course, a new name, “Ceilalti†(The Others) – name that fully represents us was chosen. As a result of numerous collaborations with James, it was decided that he should also be part of the band.
Boogie
A little piece of history-I was part of DaCapo (Eminescum ViKloth and I);
-first song: “La o parte†(Step aside) feat. James;
-more songs followed, feats. on certain compilations, more concerts.
Recently I’ve started toying with another hip-hop element, DJ-ing… not with fabulous success (right?). When you’ll hear something like “screech, screech†on the album, you should know that’s me scratching your brains. The important thing is what I’m doing right now, and what I’ll do in the future, not what I’ve done so far.
Lots of people make music for lots of reasons. I don’t think I’m one of them or am driven by the same reasons they are. For me, music is a hobby, just a hobby, I don’t intend to get rich off of it and I don’t wanna be a “celebâ€, I just wanna sing. And I hope I’ll always be one of THE OTHER guys. I’d like to do exactly what I like from now ‘till forever, and that’s music, not necessarily hip-hop, but music that expresses something. Right now, I’m making exactly the music I want to make, with the exact people I’d want to make it with. I’ve started making music (up until then I was only listening to it) when is was in 4th grade, when I (willingly) joined Popular Art School, whit the intention of learning how to play drums. After about 3 years of study, I’ve managed to learn quite a bit, and I don’t feel sorry for that. And like it goes : “the rest is historyâ€?. I’m not all that into making autobiographies, so I’ll stop here, and if anybody wants to find out more, I’m not that hard to find.
creTzu

Writing about yourself is harder than a math paper. It’s hard to anticipate what people would expect to read in such a section. While everybody else is keen on sharing with the world that they like pizza and fries, I think a justification for my actions would be welcome. To be precise, why I’m doing this (HipHop). I’d probably have to say something like “I’m bringing something fresh to Romanian music†or “it’s tough out here on the streetsâ€, NOT! It has been a dream (it really has) since childhood, which has now come true, even though I don’t get any material benefits from it, even if only friends or a handful of people just like me will listen to it. The same people who are just like me and the same friends offer me all the other satisfactions in life, so the scale stays balanced. PS: Try having the patience to understand the lyrics, not just the music!!
ViKloth
A little piece of history
ViKloth – Pledoaria (2003)+ (Pleading)
- stuff with DaCapo
- collaboration with ArTiStul & creTzu
- collaboration with Ganditoru
It’s nice to have a hobby that’s a manifestation of yourself. While in everyday life you have to apply to certain patterns, rules, when you do what you like, you’re truly YOU. Hip-hop is my weakness, my hobby, the language I use to express my feelings, my opinions and other crap I want to let out. I’m lucky that I’ve met the right people for a band, the kind of people you record an album with, you have fun with. I want to thank my fellow band members. Before being a hiphopper or whatever, it’s important to be a honourable person. We’ve met a lot of wonderful people who have helped us while doing this album, and we’d like to thank them. I want to dedicate this album to my ex-colleague, Vali Mandrila (forever young, like at 20) Rest In Peace! …and to Adrian Botosan (Interzis – nemuritor prin muzica). Rest In Peace!
James
James is the band’s ‘special guest’, who actively takes part in the creation process, being the composer of the already well-known chorus of “Rataciti†(Strayed). Also, the guitar riffs you can hear on Ceilalti – 89 are his. He has repeatedly collaborated with many artists from Suceava, taking part in projects initiated by Ganditoru, ArTiStul & creTzu and more. At present, he’s a student at the Bucharest School of Music.
