"A simple experiment demonstrates that most people give priority to pain over pleasure. If you want to strike up a lively conversation at a party, you can bring up your knee operation or triple bypass surgery, and more than likely people will jump in and enthusiastically describe their own pains. If, however, you bring up your last wonderful orgasm, most people will look at you funny and walk away as soon as they can." That damn puritan work ethic. Ain't it time to shed that old skin?
