Having lived in the islands as a child and traveled out of the country quite a bit has allowed me to embrace many wonderful cultures. One of the things I love most about life is it's diversity of people. I am fascinated with people, and believe that we choose the people in our lives for a reason. Each of them play a special role in our lives by mirroring us, reminding us to practice patience, making us laugh, lifting our spirits, grounding us, etc...Through each of these people, we learn and grow. In a day when we want everything to happen at our convenience, I think that relationships (of all kinds) should be nurtured with time and patience until they bloom organically. Myspace has made it so much easier to stay in contact with the many faces of my past, and perhaps some new ones as well.
