Montreal, Gatineau, Outaouais, Ottawa, Brossard, Sutton. Yeap, that`s right !
After a few years experimenting, the KozmYk SoundLab is beginning it's establishment in the city of Montreal, Canada.
Based in an appartment in the city, our studio is the main location used for playing, recording and producing our material.
Different people contribute to the different projects we might happen to take under hand:
Stefan Kozminchuk, who does the mixing work, also takes part in playing the keys, guitar, trumpet, sequencing drums, singing vocals and writing lyrics. If we ever need to hear any violins, or weird chainsaw noises, he's also the guy that orchestrates that;
Stéphane Truchon, our own Thom York, with writing his songs, singing his lyrics, and playing the rythm guitar;
Philippe Lemieux, our main lead guitarist, juices it up on the rig, makin' sure the Godin screamsss ohh soo tight ! ! ;
Sebastien Cardinal, our bass-man, THE man to funk things up with his twists n' licks of the axe !
Avi Ludmer on the electric violin. The man always makes a generous donation of singing, screaming sounds with the custom Zeta. When Frank Marino isn`t hoggin`him up for www.mahoganyrush.com , that is....
Kao, or Buns as some like to call him, is the guy behind the drums. Hes a pretty jolly fellow, but KILLS the set. That is fine with us.
Adding some Jas, Jon, Nad, n' Mr. Head at the right spots spices things up to bring,
from the SoundLab,
to you,
some of what we do.

JagablAh!
Since august the guys have been putting together a peculiar alternative-punk-folk-rock band, so the usual songs have since been put aside and an entirely new act is now making it's way to the Montreal underground rock scene.
PLUS! The demo is now rolling on various indie radio stations throughout the province: WoOt!! wOoT!!
First show: April

Gettin` there !
Still puttin`this thing together, practicing regularly.. Gettin`more solid. This is gonna be cool. We also started to record with Buns, our drummer, which kicks. We should have a nice demo ready for winter, although a new profile will most likely be created in the name of the band. We`ll let you know, in time.
