Keith Rockford was born and raised in Buffalo NY. Keith began his musical journey in the early 80's doing every Battle of the Bands he could find. In the mid 80's he formed Bittersweet, which did very well locally with both covers and originals. Keith got the attention of a more successful band, and in the late 80's joined Alpha Centori, touring the Northeast and Canada playing covers and originals.
By 1990, the big hair heavy metal that he loved performing throughout the 80's started to lose it's popularity. Not wanting to change his heavy metal vocal style to the grunge style that was taking over, Keith decided it was time to "settle down". By the end of 1990, he got a haircut and a "real" job, was married, and had a beautiful baby girl.
In the 90's, he played on and off in a couple of local cover bands, Bogus Otis and Snyper.
After a long break from performing, Keith came back in the summer of '05 after a couple of friends contacted him about some projects they had in the works. Those projects fell through, but Keith was already hooked and had to sing again. He joined the first band he found, the classic rock band Dogg House. He enjoyed singing tunes he grew up with but became bored with them. Keith needed to perform newer and more challenging material.
