With his booming voice, intricate wordplay and penchant for crafting witty, metaphor-packed verses, Infamuss Regilata is poised to explode onto the mainstream dancehall scene sooner than later. Infamuss is primed for stardom as the current dancehall scene is ripe with lyricists. With a guttural voice and menacing presence reminiscent of 90's era Bounty Killer, Infamuss is especially adept at performing hardcore tunes detailing the harsh realities of the ghetto and it's unfortunate inhabitants. However, what separates Infamuss from the current crop of "gangsta" deejays is his uncanny versatility. He is equally capable of making songs that appeal to the ladies and the conscious crowd. Hailing from Jamaica's notorious Spanish Town section, Infamuss' rough tales prove authentic. Even as a child he exhibited a strong passion for music. Blessed with a natural gift and charisma, it appears as if he was BORN to do music. Shortly after arriving in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, Infamuss began to pursue music professionally. He worked tirelessly, honing his craft and waiting for his shot. The turning point came when Infamuss aligned himself with another up and coming talent, producer/artist Dougs. Aside from blessing Infamuss with a bounty of his infectious beats, Dougs has also recorded with Infamuss and implored him to write more universal, commercially viable songs. Now, Infamuss records regularly at Dougs' Creative Noize studio. Infamuss has even spearheaded his own record company Bandit Records, which promises to make a definitive mark in the reggae/dancehall universe. The Regilata's hit "Ballroom Appearance"(featuring Dougs) is receiving spins on dancehall radio stations across the country. Other standout cuts such as "Hard Stroke", "Regime" and "Mek We Life Complete" are destined to set the world on fire. Currently repping the Bronx, Infamuss has impressed countless crowds with his performances at local clubs. He has recorded for Sounds such as Metromedia, Blunt Posse and Nemesis among others and his songs have moved dance-goers at clubs in the Bronx, Mt. Vernon and Brooklyn for the last three years..
