Peccatum Tacituritatis - The sin of silence

About Me

Studying/Slaving in Melbourne (still), but done soon (thank god). Don't really form an opinion on myself (although I'm very liberal on others).Doing the honours year in a research lab...on pack rats (mice really) and cells. What I've learnt from this (fruitful) year is that I hate animals and I hate cells. So, basically, I'm not that fond of anything.I've been: Alive for 24 years, Studying for 19 years, Netball-ing for 14 years, Cynical for 8 years, De-familied for 6 years, Away for 4 years, Graduated for 1 year.http://thesinofsilence.blogspot.com

My Interests

netball, all NORMAL (not extreme or anything like that) sports, reading, surfing the net, lately FOOTY (the Pies MAY do well this year..we'll see).

I'd like to meet:

Jack Sparrow - The focus of my religion. In the Australian Census this year, my listed religion is "Pirate of the Caribbean".

Music:

anything but techno....Jimmy Blunt (the Gay choice according to my supervisor - how can he talk when he paid good money to go see 'the boy from oz'?). Damien Rice isn't too bad; Jimmy Morrison lately; Aqualung; PJ Harvey; Radiohead (the old days);

Movies:

POTC (The rock upon which I built my church). I've watched Dead Man's Chest 5 times (yes 5) in Melbourne. And all 5 were at the Hoyts in Melb Central. We're sad sad people. Superman Returns was good too..

Television:

Australian reality shows...a.k.a Big Brother and Australian Idol. No time for TV lately...I was reduced to watching Sex and the City at midnight cos that's when I got in from the stupid lab.

Books:

Harry Potter. The Bible (In nomine patris et filii et spiritus sancti). Shantaram. Edward Rutherford books aren't too bad. Lord of the Rings (the book kicks the movies' ass). The Firm (not the Grisham novel, but the one on the royals). Incidentally, I love the royals. I'm a monarchist at heart. After all, where would we be without the Queen?

Heroes:

Hmmm...noone actually. Why would I have one?
