MAY THE MALOYKE BE WITH YOU

About Me

I am a musician. Music is 90% of my life. I had been the lead singer for a very successful tribute band. Dream Police a tribute to....Cheap Trick. In Los Angeles. Well after eight years. I decided that I needed a change. During the eighties I used to be the bass player in some very cool bands. Did a lot of recording / touring stuff back then. Since I had not played bass seriously in ten years. I decided that I wanted to get back to my roots as a musician. And play bass again. For the last year I tried to find a drummer to complete the lineup for a Rob/White Zombie tribute. It proved to be a very difficult thing to do. I have not given up on my Zombie project. I just want to gig! Over the Holidays of 2005. I ran into a guitarist/friend that when I used to play bass in the nineties. We used to play Steve Vai, Joe Satriani stuff back then. I talked to him about my new idea of doing a Soundgarden tribute. Imediatly he said. I'm in! His next question was. Where are you going to find a singer that can pull off Chris Cornell? Then he smiled. Your going to do it Gar? Hell yes! I have a complete lineup now. We are rehearsing. Everything is going much more smooth. I hope to be ready to gig soon. Stay tuned! Im still going to do my Zombie project too. But this Soundgarden tribute is too much fun. My voice is a very good fit for Cornell. I love to sing with power, and belt it out with ear splitting range! Howl!!!! I am putting this myspace up for people that would like to keep in touch about the live music scene in L.A. Networking, and sharing a liking for Horror films, Metal music, fast cars and Hot Girls that like rockers!!!

My Interests

Doing shows, meeting new people, bass guitar again, of course singing for my new Soundgarden trib, getting this Rob/White Zombie trib. off the ground.I have a very very powerful lineup. If you like to ROCK!!! We'll give it to ya :)

I'd like to meet:

Any knock down gorgeous lady that likes a metal head with long hair!! Howl!
This is the last original band I was in. We had won the battle of the bands at a place called Peppers in City of Industry. Three times in a row. The fourth time. They wouldnt let us compete. So that year we were the judges. (That was fun!) We were signed to our first label. Lethal Records. Second label was Statue Records. The name of the band was Skin II Skin. The name said it all about us. Although our drummer was married to a very beautiful wife. He kept his nose clean. The rest of us were total dogs. J.B. may he rest in peace. (Car accident) Was fun to party with. We were being total rock stars. Mark was just a total dog. I was the cute bass player that could sing his ass off. We had a lot of heavier material but never got it on video. Our fans were fiercely loyal. They would do whatever it takes to get us what we needed. Food, strings, clothes, BEER! J.B. even got a Gibson Les Paul from a fan. Of course she wanted strings attached along with the ones on the guitar. LOL!! Rest in peace J.B. Chapman

Music:

From Metal to eighties hair bands.

Movies:

Wild at Heart, Which extremely eccentric David Lynch film character are you?
You are Sailor Ripley from 'Wild At Heart' (1990), as played by Nicolas Cage. Sailor Ripley is a recent parolee who takes his girlfriend Lula on a law-breaking cross-country joyride. Sailor sings Elvis songs to Lula and takes great pride in his snakeskin jacket, 'a symbol of my individuality and my belief in personal freedom.'

Quizilla | Join| Make A Quiz | More Quizzes | Grab Code Pulp fiction, Swingers (Your so money and you don't even know it!) Decline of Western Civilization The Metal Years.(We're going to make it!) Good horror films, good comedy. Anything that has a good story or something about it that pulls me in.

Television:

Food Channel. Emril Rocks! All sports channels, Cold Case Files and City Confidential on A&E, Forensic files and all shows of that nature. (There are some realy messed up people out there and it entertains me). MXC on the Spike channel!!! Freaking hilarious!!!

Books:

The Stand and many other books and short stories by Stephen King. One of my favorite short stories was "And The Band Played On". The moral of that story? Even if you love music by passed away legends. You don't want to meet them in hell! Check your road map and stay on the main highway. Someone needs to make a movie compilation of short stories. Like back in the eighties and have that story as part of it. I usually read a book to fall asleep. After reading a certain chapter in Misery the opposite happened. I could not go to sleep period. (It takes a lot to freak me out like that).
