I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Thrash Metal from Puerto Rico!. Formed in 1999 originally named (SNIFF) by Christian Rivera and Edwin Torres. Later on Second guitarrist Annibal Cardona & bass Jonathan Ruiz joined the band and then the band was completed when they got Christian Mercedes Túa(Chris Godkiller) from Sepulchral to help them in the Vocals and then the band was completed and Chris Godkiller remained as permanent member.Sniff recorded a demo of 5 songs in one 1 take that included Trash songs like Despierta,Odio,Hipocrecia,La Sociedad Apesta & Drink the Poison. Lyrics content at first were about the negative side and reality of life, social protest, shit that happens on daily life. At that time we were listening to all forms of Metal like Venom, W.A.S.P, Pantera, Motorhead, Cardinal Sin, Slayer, Deicide, Exodus, Morbid Angel, Mayhem... In 2001 Annibal Cardona left the band so Chris Godkiller took the duty of second guitar along with the Vocals. Sniff recorded another demo, a 4 song demo called "Eyes of Blood" with Death/Thrash titles like Love is Dead, Hipocrecia (re-recorded), Odio (re-recorded) & Human Falling. The band played live in several shows and Metal Fests in P.R., joining P.R's best Metal acts of that time like Osamenta, Godless, Encrypted, Darkened Skies, Infectoria, Organic Infest, among others... In 2002 Jonathan Ruiz was kicked out and Tito Crowbar from Miseria took the bass. This lineup continued until 2003, when Eddwin Torres just lost interest on the band and never came back. Chris Godkiller,Chris R and Tito kept playing as a 3 piece for some time but later on Chris R joined another band (Alma Blanca) and with all his obligations, he lost interest too. Then, Tito decided to leave Sniff to concentrate on his own band. . Chris Godkiller decided to continue with the band on his own & got new musicians: Cheo (bass), Reynaldo(guitar) and Edil (drums). The band continued to play in some more shows but since it had a different, Death Metal sound and more extreme songs, Chris Godkiller decided to reform his old band Sepulchral with this new lineup and put SNIFF to R.I.P..... Then later after almost 3 to 4 years of total silence.. in 2006 Sniff reunites with its original members. The band played a reunion show at the Bull Rocker Metal Fest in Cataño,P.R then....(yes,you know! it did not last!) Tito didnt have enought time to keep up working with the band he had like 5 other bands, so the reunion was over. Then Chris Quintana(ex-Alma Blanca) joins in! taking the bass duty. Then..(yes again!) Eddwin Torres disappears! just like he did years ago.. and yes, got his ass fired again! and this time for good. Now Chris Quintana has taken the Lead Guitar duty and Jose(Sepulchral drummer) has taken the Bass. This is the Best and most powerfull line up ever!. Since all this big changes have been made musically and in members Chris Godkiller and Chris Rivera(the only original members) have decided that is time to change the name of the band to a more conceptual and evil name ,to (WARDEVIL) - it represents what we are! Devils,Sinners and 4 extreme oldschooler metalheads!. So now the band stands as WARDEVIL and more thrash,speed metal oriented than before. It has been a long fucking road and this band will never and has never! give up!. Today in P.R we are infested with retarded Trends that have no creativity,no originality no brains! just everyone following what others are doing and copying each other. Thats why we stand alone! and away from those bands!. We are WARDEVIL we play loud oldschool fucking heavy metal and we are a BULL ROCKER BAND! so join us in the quest to bring back 80's Metal! or Fucking Die!! WIMPS,POSERS and TRENDS!
