FFILMM features adult short films, junior short films and poetry. This event will give people in the community a chance to show their talent publicly to a national audience. These participants have been chosen by a set of professional judges who have established their careers within the film and poetry industry. We are specifically honoring youth in our community who exemplify the potential to be successful but do not have the essentials in order to fulfill those dreams and aspirations. It is our hope to give them the opportunity to express their creative ability through spoken word poetry, advanced technology and film production.With the many career options available to adults today, it is imperative that we let the younger generations explore the many paths they can take in life.By honoring these artists with your presence, you will be great inspiration to the artists and the community; nourishing their imaginations, intellect and future of these talented competitors within it.
