I was listening to Spoon well before anyone else. I still think Fiona Apple is an amazing songwriter, Roddy Woomble is the prettiest member of Idlewild and Harvey Danger write songs about me.
I'm a filthy little film whore, though not as much since getting a social life. I'm also a screenwriter, which leaves me bitter and cynical about the direction of modern American film. Is there life beyond Wedding Crashers and Dukes of Hazard? One can only hope.
Most of the shows I really like are either no longer on or broadcast only on stations I don't get. So, other than the occassional Bravo mini-series, I don't much bother with the TV.
Neil Gaimen has recently replaced Robert Rankin as pack leader for my most favouritest authors. Nick Hornby would be up there, if only he knew how to actually end a story.
