Welcome to My Space!!!
My name is Pascalle and I am a Peace Painter
I was born in Holland in 1970 and ever since I was a small child I have sung and painted. With the help of my intuition, singing and painting I was led to a place in France where I discovered colour therapy. As I knew I was living in a vibrating universe I formed a great interest in how different light frequencies affect people and their environment.
This is nothing new and has been known for a long time in different cultures, but in recent years more and more interests have been formed and studies have been made in places such as schools, hospitals and prisons.
After studying colour therapy for two years in France I returned to Holland where I realised that, with the help of colour, I could help people find a more peaceful state of mind.
After six years of personal study and using colour therapy with people, I found my own way of reaching inner peace. From this space I began to let myself paint freely and innocently whatever naturally came onto the paper. I created many paintings as I refined this process. Some of those can be seen here on My Space or in my exhibitions in Holland.
As this process refined itself more and more I started to realise it is a form of meditation and as I painted more and more from this peaceful place, I could see I was forming a connection with a universal harmonious energy, which is available for all to experience; I was just becoming a neutral channel for it.
As I naturally progressed, I wondered if a painting created in this way could release this universal energy into a room. So I stopped painting paintings and painted a whole room in my house - including the door! After a period of time and the comings and goings of people to and from my house, I noticed the positive effects the room was having. One person even asked if they could exchange a plane white door from their own house for a painted door from my room.
The next step I took was to paint a classroom in the Spiritual Centre in Vlissingen, Holland. Because of the positive feedback from the students and teachers in the Centre, this experience independently showed me that this way of painting could produce a calm and peaceful energy in a room.
So, armed with this new confidence, I have begun to create these wall paintings out of love and to share this beautiful experience with others, as well as myself. I have painted in India and at the moment I am painting for the world music band, Astral Circus, my next project to be the walls of a small recording studio, to add ambiance and to help the free flow of inspiration.
