O.U.T. (Once Upon a Time)

This is the birth of O.U.T. Step by step and little by little. Although we take enough years immerse in music on their own way, after beginning a relationship like couple, years later, we decide to take the definitive step and join our styles and art conceptions, at first sight antagonistic: electronic + vintage.
We realised that, until in analogical sounds it existed that essence or that something 'vintage' in itself. Old sounds of synthesizers like those of KRAFTWEK, Depeche Mode, And One, the innovative sounds of David Bowie, Peter Gabriel or Pet Shop Boys or the guitars of 12 strings of The Cure, there're something mythical and anthological with decadence.
There's a proverb that says that the human being always tends to the classical, and for us, it's true. More than to be defined inside a concrete music style, we feel perfectionists with ourselves and we have a very rigorous and concrete work methodology. In spite of the distance and the kilometres that separate us, each one of us have our creative space and we know what it's what we look for in each moment from one another.
'Vintage' DOESN'T MEANS 'retro', neither ..modern.. nor 'cool', nor a concrete time. We don't want to emulate, to copy, by no means imitating anybody. Any resemblance is no coincidence; it'll be if so, influence. Although, in this world of labels, we cannot avoid being compared with somebody, no matter how much that bothers us. So, what for to worry?...
Our definition of 'Vintage' it's to rescue what one maybe had forgotten and to give it a turn of 180º but unexpected in some of the turns. We like it:
1. To play with the compositions, the milimetrical bases, very concrete and precise arrangements and we escape from the baroque style. Brilliant iNDiGO & AlWerk take care of all this. They dominate the sounds like few do and they go further on. I would define them as a chameleons without limits and they know well how to adapt to the environment.
2. To play with the voice registrations and nothing it's what seems to be. This is the favorite game of Anika von Lynch and her 'artistic alter-egos'. To be able to mutate of serious to sharp in only a second. We have always believed that a singer is only due to the public but to themself as artist. He/She should be known very inside, to know his/her 'egos', 'alter-egos' and his/her 'artistic alter-egos' to be able to know what he/she must have to give in his/her performances to all the people and fans.
3. To play with the vocal and corporal expression, the choirs, the performance, the scenery, the atrezzo and the 'mise-en-scene' are key pieces that make to a group differentiated from the rest. Little by little, we will upload demos, rarities to download, versions and you can know more and more about O.U.T. and all that it's able to embrace.
