I will try anything once unless it goes against my personal values. I have millions of interests but here are a few. I love to dance, write poetry and short stories, play tennis, read (romance novels, science fiction, mysteries, everything really), watch t.v., shop (of course), and sing (off-tune most of the time, but i try)
I would love, love, love, love, love to meet God of course (who wouldn't: I'm sure everyone has a few questions for Him). I used to want to meet a sexy, athletic guy, but now I feel like I would just be perfectly happy meeting guys who aren't only about that THING (ya'll kno what i mean) and girls who are above the typical catty female stuff. I'd also love to meet Oprah Winfrey (she practically founded an empire), Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Bill Clinton, and my soulmate!
I am eclectic. Love everything from classical to rap music. If you stole my iPod you would find Ciara's "OH", a Chopin concierto, Beethoven, all of Linkin Park's songs, a few techno hits, Nivea's "Okay", Petey Pablo's "Freak a leak", Seal's "Kiss by a Rose", Michael Jacksons "Beat It" and the list goes on and on
My favorite movie in the whole wide world is Pretty Woman (prostitute meets rich man, rich man falls in love, prostitute is now rich). After that it is any movie that Julia Roberts is in. I also love this Italian film "Life Is Beautiful". It is one of the most touching films I have ever seen. Both of the Nutty Professor movies are hilarious, and loved Scary Movie 1 (but all the other ones were busts). Kill Bill Vol 1 kicks ass. And I love Mean Girls because it takes a lot to be a bitch and not worry that someone is going to jump you and cut your hair off. And I love Soul Food mostly because of the sex scene with Terri's husband and cousin.
You are gonna laugh at my favorite t.v. shows. I have just found Sex and the City and my passion for this show knows no bounds. I also adore Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Girlfriends, Reba, One On One, Half and Half, What I Like About You, 106 and Park, Laguna Beach (the REAL O.C.), The Nanny, Living Single, Degrassi: The Next Generation, and the few episodes of Dave Chappelle that I have managed to catch.
THE BIBLE (naturally). My favorite books are Pride and Prejudice, Crime and Punishment, The Poisonwood Bible, House of Mirth, The Great Gatsby, all of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books, the Fearless series, 1984, and the Lord of the Flies. My all time favorite two books are Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow.
I idolize Oprah Winfrey because she makes so much money and makes no bones about the need to share it with those less fortunate. Tyra Banks because she turned her beauty into an enterprise and didnt let anyone's negative comments bring her down. Martha Stewart because she made it in a world of men even if she was brought down for a little while: she's moving right back up. Mahatma Gandhi because he inspired my pacifism, fought racial injustice with the awesome power of words, and led Martin Luther King Jr. on his course of helping African Americans become equals in America. All of the survivors of the Holocaust who are alive, healthy, and mentally stable, because it takes boundless amounts of courage to survive what they were put through (i doubt that i would have made it): thank you for sharing your stories.
