RICHARD BALDREE
Originally from Valdosta Georgia, I grew up in beautiful Tampa Bay, Florida.
Starting at a young age of 13 I reverse engineered everything with electronics, making my first mixed recording with two portable cassette decks and an old analog turntable. From that creation spawned an open mind of possibilities in creating mixed music.
Having an ever increasing passion to record and mix music, led me to attend Full Sail Real World Education where I went through intense hands on training with some of the top leaders in the Recording Industry, including those nominated for "Grammy Awards".
After graduating with my degree in the Recording Arts, I returned home to the Bay Area where I continue to work as a freelance engineer, ranging in live sound events as Front of House ,monitor mix / installation engineer/operator, recording, mixing & editing in studios, to spinning-mixing records for my own company RTISTIK SOUNDS. Other positions currently held are Executive Managing Director for RHYTHM LOGIC RECORDS INC, and Production tech II / Audio operator for HSN.
My experience and education have allowed me to become proficient with numerous recording / mixing consoles, gear, control surfaces and all types of media software applications, while choosing to mix and edit all of my projects in Pro Tools.
In essence to outstanding technical skills and abilities, I strive to present a keen business sense and attitude, which has carried me through this competitive industry and will continue to reward my hard work and commitment in future investments.
