Q-UNIQUE: you know what...it chose me...i always believed, and still do, that, to this day, my music fits in the surface world...the fact that there is a standard of how a record should sound in order to have the priviledge of being on commercial radio is a bit obsurd to me, its a containment of art, and creating a cloned culture...not allowing people to truly express themselves, like they once did in hip hop when groups like tribe called quest, were on the radio along with KRS one and Public enemy, ...and no one sounded the same.as a matter of fact it was basically an unspoken crime to sound like the other rapper...also...no one had to pay for their position, and come up with an adventurous story in order for you to purchase or even be interested in the music.....so in a sense i feel robbed.because radio play and world wide recognition should be based on the merit of a good song, or a good album.. not a good publicity team..but the type of person that i am...i wont take no for an answer...so i will be on the surface, on my own terms...one way or another...Thats FUKIN DOPE!!!!!!!!JMT - Vinnie Paz is my hero!!
