i like art; seeing, hearing and enjoying art. and not talking about it. i like outdoor beers in the daylight, in cities where no one knows your name.i like lists: hearing the alarm go off and not waking up; luna; small cat; crafting on the couch; big coffees; big cocktails; doodling insullation hatch; i like 6:00pm.
You know how sometimes you'll find yourself walking down a tree-lined street, wearing a spectacular trench coat and adorable shoes, carrying one paper shopping bag, out of the top of which pokes a baguette and some unidentifiable leafy greens, and everything is going beautifully -- there's music in the air, and your hair looks awesome -- until you accidentally collide with a devilishly handsome but infuriating eligible young man and your groceries go everywhere and he doesn't really even seem to care, and after that you two run into each other all over your well-lit town and you really, really hate him until the fateful morning when you wake up (wearing the cutest jammies, which just happen to coordinate perfectly with your bedroom) and realize that, actually, you love him?
cyndi lauper or....anything that brings back a memory. belle and sebastian for paris. moby and elton john for london. coldplay and the ravonettes for all those thesis studio hours. the jesus and marychain and bright eyes for last christmas. frente and hit and run holiday for the happy high school year. the smiths for the other ones.
jeopardy, that travel show thats on sat. morning- sometimes i miss cable for bravo and the style channel and i nearly forgot.... .my so-called life. always and forever.
seems like i really only like the first 20 pages of pretty much every thing. the ones i like the rest of are: the bell jar, a tree grows in brooklyn, galapagos, valley of the dolls, great expectations, she's come undone, the catcher in the rye and so on.
