TOCHAPESTANA

TOCHA (voice, texts and effects) and PESTANA (guitar, beats and hits) are both from Portugal, but now based in Berlin and Lisbon. They have been working together for the past seven years in musical performances, soundtracks and cinema. TOCHAPESTANA follows the tradition of the marvellous power romantic duos. On stage they are a powerful electro mobile dance hall crossing Portuguese techno-kitsch with universal turbo-punk. TOCHAPESTANA doesn't believe in fame or publicity but in touching people by truth and intensity. A TOCHAPESTANA is much more than and band is an event, an experience not art. TOCHAPESTANA may miss a chord but catches the heart. They are influenced by names like Júlio Iglesias, Marco Paulo, ZZ Top, Elvis Presley, Wham! and many others. Currently they are organizing a Europe tour to present their debut double album (edit in Vynil in a signed limit edition).
