About Me

I am a very unique person and enjoy being so. I am a member of the church of Christ, Southside in particular, in Rogersville, Al. I am the wife of Cory Hicks, one of the best bass singers of our time, for almost 9 yrs. He has been blessed with a gift of not only song, but the gift of meekness, humility and brute strenght.:)! I am the active mother of five beautiful children; Alandria, Caleb, Jordan, Kaitlyn, and Nadia. I enjoy my role as mother. Although it isn't always easy, I take the well being of my children's souls very seriously. Heaven is our only option in the life to come. With God's help all of my children will come to know and love Him as I do and more.I enjoy teaching, singing, and traveling to do those things. I am also an aspiring writer/ composer. All that I involve myself in is to help spread God's love and message to the world and to be an example of godliness to everyone I meet, especially other mothers and young ladies. My Interests

I sing, read, study, write literature and songs. I home school and I love to meet new people and catch up with old friends. I am currently a member of Committed Acappella Chorus and C.-W.A.R(Christian Warriors Advocating Righteousness). My husband and I previously sang with Livvin Proof, Devoted, Anesis and numerous church groups. Cory and I also do background vocals for Trinity-One Studios, here in Athens, AL. Who knows what's next. My heart's desire is to go back into the foreign mission field and/ or state side church planting. I also love spending time with my family and meeting cool, older Christians who like to share their wisdom.I now direct a new A cappella Gospel Chorus, "Sincere Praise", here in Athens. Things have gotten off to a great start. God is truly Good!! The chorus consists of approximately 36 members who are very enthusiastic about being used by God to encourage others to draw closer to Him...

He will never leave you nor forsake you. He knows our struggles. He was tempted in every point, just like us, so He knows and He will help us. (Hebrews 4:15-16, Hebrews 13:5-6).
