Location Managers Guild of America

I am here for Networking

About Me

The primary mission of the LOCATION MANAGERS GUILD OF AMERICA is to enhance recognition and respect for its members within the entertainment and related industries and to strengthen their ability to develop meaningful and credible careers.
Out duty is to inspire our members to professional excellence by demonstrating how and where they might learn more and develop themselves further. The Guild passes on traditions that lessons of experience provide and insures that professional achievement builds on achievement.
The Guild keeps the pride of its members alive. That pride is the pride in their craft and work in their profession. LMGA signifies professional excellence.
The Location Managers Guild of America also strives to serve the public and the production industries through philanthropic and educational programs and through identifying, improving, exchanging and encouraging the mutual benefits of location filming among the entertainment industries and our communities.

My Interests

Location Scouting, Location Management, Photography, Philanthropy, Education, Hollywood, Movies, Television, Commercials, Music Videos, Ambassador Hotel, Los Angeles MTA....

I'd like to meet:

Location Scouts, Location Managers, Key Assistant Location Managers, Assistant Location Managers, Location Assistants, Film Commissioners, and Location Services vendors nationwide and worldwide, whether they are in the LMGA already or yet to join someday. We welcome members of the Teamsters, DGA, and non-union alike. Please check out our website too.

Oh, and note that we're not really 23 years old, but really only 3 years old (MySpace wouldn't allow such youngsters on the service). We were officially incorporated on Tuesday, 2 December 2003, thus making us the newest guild in Hollywood, just after our friends at the SDSA / Set Decorators Society of America.

Heroes:

Teamsters 399, Directors Guild of America, IATSE, Set Decorators Society of America
