Calaca

Evolving from the 80's and 90's Hip Hop Era, Calaca stepped on the Bay Area underground rap scene as one of only a few predominately Latino positive Hip Hop groups of its time. The original members consisted of vocalists Deuce Eclipse (Nicaraguan), Ace Moon (Mexican) and DJ Tymani (African-American) and performed under the name Full Deck. The name would later be changed to Calavera Crew then later shortened to Calaca. Feeling the nation ignored Latino youth Calaca began making songs that addressed problems facing America's barrios. Though Calaca is not actively touring they are actively recording new music. Deuce Eclipse can currently be found on tour with Zion I.
