About Me

DCB originally started out as a clique. All of them use to hang out and do so many things together. The group was formed in 1998, and their name was TOL which means Top Of The Line. The members were Nasty T, Smooth, Kirk a.k.a. Stee-lo, and Charles a.k.a. Cool G. They performed in numerous talent shows until they were winning them all and then they started opening up for the talent shows. They were close to signing with this local label that was big in our town at the time, but they didnt because they found out the guy wasnt real. After about 2 or three years Charles moved and Kirk and Nasty T. went off to college so it was hard to practice and keep in touch. After college, Nasty T and Smooth hooked back up and Kirk and Charles moved out of state. Replacing Kirk and Charles wasnt easy although they tried, but nobody could fit for the sound that they had. Then they decided to change the name from TOL to DCB. So now its just Nasty T and Smooth on a mission to keep the dream alive. They both write songs and continues to work hard in the studio trying to keep a good sound. These two guys have come a long way to make music that the ladies love and also music that the phellas can relate to. Still realizing that they have so far to go, they are still ready for the ride. Their sound is so unique, it kind of gives you that old school flava mixed with some flava of their own. Their harmony is so crisp and on point, that it makes you wanna hear more. Not to mention, it also makes the ladies wanna do things that they said they would never do. So sit back, relax, and be patient because DCB is coming to a city near you real soon. Their mission is almost complete because with the help of God, they cant do anything but succeed.
