About Me

Most women's magazines simply try to mold women into bigger and better consumers. -Gloria Steinem

...from piles of magazines, a pair of scissors, a glue stick...
I’m a visual person and at one point I was struggling within my journal, I was falling out of love with writing pages and pages of endless words. It did excite me, however, to paste photos, momentos and slogans from magazine ads into my journal. It's amazing how many ads have encouraging messages, but how much more affirming they are when the consumerism aspect is omitted.
I, like so many people, struggle with my self worth, self esteem, questioning my decisions or life path and on so many different levels, as a person, woman, mother, sister, daughter and artist. And I'd watch and hear how the people I loved would struggle the same.
