Lived on a 1000 acre ranch most of my life and raised thoroughbreds and quarter horses...When my father died I made sure when I sold my ranch that my horses were given to good homes and would not end up in slaughterhouses...Moved to the city and now I know how much I miss the country and how peaceful life used to be when I could get up and ride my horses and never have to see another person or talk to anyone for hours...My mother and father were my best friends and after they passed I realized if you love someone to let them know because you may never have the chance to tell them again....We are never promised tomorrow... I love music......I enjoy going to the beach...I am not a winter person so give me the beach anytime... After I sold my ranch I moved to Florida and became a travel agent for 17 years. Loved the travel business but after 9/11 it changed drastically...I miss my horses and living in a place that I could save as many abused animals that I could possibly take care of.
