Jah guide!

For clarification: My music is downloadable for free. I ask for no money.
Radio stations: Yes, this does mean you may play them on the radio. In fact, I would feel honored.
Mix CD’s, bootleggers and other cash machines: NO! If I don’t make money on it, neither do you! And if you must, contact me with your proposal, I must warn that if you think your smart, I own a whole book on Jamaican cus-words :P
NOTE: Please take in to account that all the riddims belong to other people, who will not object if you use them for your own use, but have elaborate small lettering of why you should not sell their “product”.

Influences: "Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted, the indifference of those who should have known better, the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most, that has made it possible for evil to triumph."

Psalm 68:4. Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

FAQ

Why do you give away your music?
I have seen a friend have a hit, which sold thousands of copies. This album had massive success in France, UK and Germany. He made 11 euros. This means that while you are trying to spread your message, other people are trying to get rich of you. I do not mind people getting rich, but first and foremost, I have something to say.

You do not want to make money with your music?
Of course, living in the city means living with having to make money. I have a fulltime job. I would love to make money with music; this would give me more time to make music. I do not believe that my music is at such a point people will pay money for it, also nobody (artist) got rich of their album sales. Money, as far as I can judge, comes from performing, touring, specials and such. Basically, I’m happy people listen to it. Thanks!

Are you signed?
Who cares?!? I mean, I make music regardless of others. I expect to finish my first album this year, which will show some massive progress, from my first ever recorded song (Darwin bogle) to whatever song I’m making next. Being signed only helps if you want to sell records and be on commercial radio, but you can download the music. I’m not denying that there aren’t any perks to be with a record label, like actually getting on a commercial radio station, or being promoted till people can’t stand you no more. But I’m happy with what I have.

Will you be signed in the future?
Do I look like a witch-doctor? I can’t see the future, nor do I know, or want to know anyone who can. I don’t see why anyone would want to sign me. And if they come, I will see what is in it for me.
