As anyone who knows the band will know, over time, what is now: "One Horse Race" has had many members, many songs and many names. But where did it all begin?
You could say that the band began late one evening, with far more members than we care to remember sitting around on a car-park. Some already played instruments, and some planned to learn. Only three of those people remain in the band today. That group of friends and what was rapidly becoming a "band" first properly kicked off around Autumn 2005 when drummer Joe Rushton first got his drum kit, and they started having jams and practices whenever they could.
And then Rhys joined. We've gone from playing at school to fifty to playing at Manchester to hundreds, so things are pretty awesome.
