About Me
Clint and I got on my computer, bored on a wet summer day and found a loop program that produces music that was already built in called Garageband . Clint and I we're curious about how it works. So we skipped the tutorial, pulled out the guess & check method, and we had our first song that same night. From that point on, every other week, we would find ourselves making another song. The very few people that heard our songs were surprised that we made them and to this day, didn't understand how me made them either.. More importantly, they liked them so, we decided to take them on a test drive. We began looking to find our way onto the multimedia world, not as a sales method but to have our art appreciated by whoever was interested. That still is our only desire to this day. Today, we continue to look for new ways to get it around to the public.I converted the songs to my iTunes library, mailed and burned them onto compact discs to get to Clint's, eventually leading to both of us having them loaded up onto our separate iPods. Although we were content with what we had, not long after, I was on my myspace page looking for a new song. Just to make things interesting, I searched my area codes local talent. I was only exspected to see John but there we're hundreds of locals that had there own myspace. I never would of thought it was that easy to do. I told Clint. He loved the idea. He joined the Myspace universe for support and together we made the first music site. Sadly enough, it bombed horribly. We couldn't upload songs or get a background. We didn't have a picture or a single fan besides the both of us. We were very appreciative of what we had, but we did not have much hope of getting much further through to Myspace. We shut both sites down and went dormant on our expansion plans, stopped trying to publish our music, and decided to enjoy it for ourselves. We made more songs (presently 12 total) and after 5 months and we stayed happy with having it just for us. Soon later, although, out of determination to finish what we started, we decided to try again. At that point, all three of our Myspace sites were gone "for our own separte reasons" so we had to start back at the bottom. This time around, we were going to try to load them up on Clint’s new PC opposed to using the Mac and his older computer. After a few simple newage file trainers, we succeeded in uploading our songs. I found out how to upload a background, loaded up some photos relating to our music, and that's what has brought us to this point! Cool huh?Honestly, we’re pretty confident that our fans will be limited due to the environment, meaning simply: no Rock, Rap or Country is involved with what we're doing. No vocals, either.. We have just about not mainstream sound that just about no one is used to and sadly, open to even give it a chance. We've both done a amount of recurting but just to fill out Top 24. We are not going to pull people to listion to our songs. Like I said earlier, we enjoy having our art appreciated by whoever was interested but, at this point, we just need to decide if what we feel is as good as/or more important than what people think. That can be an issue most everyone can relate to.This site and everything else done under the draft project name "The Northern Lights", is only a side experiment. More of a devoted hobbie then a carrer. We’re not trying to be superstars but we won’t turn down the offer. How it's going to turn out, you know better then either of us. Please add comments, requests, some advice or you could even download one or two of them if you want to load'em up to your iPod if desired. We constantly editing everything. We're open to aboslutly any qustions also so, don't hesitate to ask. Any feedback or support is greatly appreciated. Thank You.You'd be suprised how easy it is to get around the world these days.
