Mexican-American Jazz Vocalist, Anna (Acevedo) Lyman was born in Detroit (Motown!) and her special mix of Jazz, Latin, and Soul is unique. After spending her early years in Detroit, she completed High School and University in British Columbia, Canada, attending Malaspina University College Jazz program and receiving an Assoc. of Music, Jazz. She is a Bachelor of Music candidate. Her voice was described as 'Melted chocolate' by the Harbour City Star. Jazz Review said "Anna Lyman is a genuine jazz singer". Anna has appeared at Expo, the Victoria Jazz Festival, Pender Harbour Jazzfest, VIJB.ca, on CBC Radio North by Northwest, CBC Hot Air and more! Anna's career is rising like the steam from hot salsa!
