ALL ABOUT MELODY: I was Born from US & Trinidad rootz, I grew up in Miami before heading to NY(Bronx Big Ups) to fulfill my dreams of being a STAR in the muzic bizness. I got my first job as an intern (can u say "Borooke!" in case you didn't know, internships pay little or no money). Hoping that this was the beginning of me breaking into the BIZ, I struggled, it was ruff living in between houses and studios of my friends but I just knew I was going to make it if I met the right people they would see my talent( all I need is an opportunity!!). When nothing materialized, I had to make some tuff choices working all day and trying to do muzic all night, I knew it would catch up to me...and it did..my body was exhausted not to mention my expenses were killing me..I kinda new something had to give but I am so prideful (my pride is going to kill me my Daddy always says :) "Luv u Daddy!") I wouldn't let anyone know..it really broke my heart though :( , but I know nothing comes easy in life...so you have to prepare as you never know where the next opportunity may come from...I won't ever give up, it's coming I know it is....Looking back I can't believe I was so hard headed..I wanted to prove to everyone, I could make it on my own..right! I now know it takes more than just me..I need support from everyone to make it in this Bizness. After some convincing from friends and family, I finally swallowed my pride and returned to the South, setting up my music rootz in between the ATL (World Media Inc. thankx for all da help Rome) and the O. I Work with a great group of producers(K-Boog u know we make hot muzic together:),dat Boi J! writer/producer and Grammy winning producer Trae from T-stone prod. ( luv what u do Trae! u make me hot as fiya! :), and I am back to making the music I luv.. not the songz every label exec wants me to make!...I look back every now and again on my experiences in NY and it gives me inspiration, I feel like my time is coming...it's just around the corner and it won't be long before we bring MelodyMuzic to the top...so look out world cause here comes MELODY (lol).Since joining Myspace Muzic I can't believe all the luv I have recieved to think that 200,000 of you have listened to my Muzic...Wow!! right now I think that South is one of the hottest muzic spots and I want to be a major part in that (dasswassup to all other artists). Most recently I was featured on the Larry Steele morning show on hot 105.7 radio station, I loved it!!, I had so much fun talking to the hosts, they were so nice :). I thought it was hot when Larry said "I was the next big thing" Thankx Larry! :) As her buzz continues to grow, Melody is now in the studio preparing her album and you will surely hear more from her sooon in the clubs and on the radio.
