REDO has been playing the Denver Punk Scene since March 2005 and has yet to look back. The band started with original members, Ryan Stanton, Josh Taylor, Danelle and Mike Tolen. Together, the band played several shows and earned a small following. In the spring of 2006, Danelle and Mike Tolen left to embark on other adventures in life.
Thus began the acoustic sets of summer 2006. Ryan and Josh continued on with the band as a small acoustic act playing bars and coffee shops for nothing. The searched out new members regularly trying out new drummers and bass players. Finally they stumbled onto Cody Fleider, who had come out to see one of their acoustic sets in September, he joined the band in October 2006. Then they found Joel Patterson, who had just moved to Denver from Nebraska not long before the band contacted him. Thus began the new lineup.
In December 2006, the band played their first show as a full band again. They played 2 days before Christmas raising money for homeless children. The band continues to play shows throughout Colorado and have become a big fish in a small pond.
In June of 2007, REDO released their first album, titled "Your Mother Likes It". The CD contains 7 fan favorites including "Susie The Stripper" and "Life By The Streetlight".
The Band also performed for Second Wind Fund promoting Teen Suicide Prevention, which was broadcast over the internet to over 1500 viewers. They played the Bodog Battle of the Bands qualifying as one of 400 bands out of 4500 to move onto the next round, but did not make it to the city finals.
By the end of 2007, they had their chance to open up for Victory Records artists The Tossers who expressed an interest in playing together again upon their return to Denver.
2008 promises to be a great year for REDO. They will release their second album and start touring regionally, plus more exciting announcements.
