Adela, a 22 year-old singer/rapper, will captivate you with her voice and energize you with her harmonious flow over hip hop tracks. “Everything I write comes from a place deep inside,” states Adela. “I sing/rap about my life experiences and speak on all aspects of life because I know its something people can relate to.” With the goal of being the premier name of R&B/Hip Hop, Adela is making her mark with her potent lyrics and emotive vocal delivery.
Born in Durban, South Africa, Adela was raised in South Florida where she has taken her life experience and turned it into the most powerful medium available – music. She started her career at a very young age performing at numerous mall events, festivals, concerts, and clubs. Adela cultivated her sound by infusing her love of Hip Hop with R&B in a way that can only be described as innovative.
Influenced by Nas, Mary J. Blige, Tupac and Lauren Hill, Adela’s purpose is to write songs that evoke emotion as well as produce music that will have impact for years to come. “I want people to be able to hold on to my music so that 10 years from now, they can say that they remember where they were or what they were doing when they heard my song,” Adela asserts. Her ability to sing, rap and write is a versatility that makes her more than just an entertainer – she is an innovator.
Adela’s talent is self-evident as she was an opening act for LL Cool J, Fat Joe and the Terror Squad, and Trick Daddy on the Winter Jam in Paradise Tour. She has also opened for Chingy and Pitbull and was also featured on School Keeper Entertainment's Mix Tape "Back In Action" Volume 1.
She is currently working on her debut album, which features the production of Street Runner of Terror Squad, J Rock of Poe Boy, Omar Santana, Danny Drada, Playah Nice, Jimi Kendrixxx, and Yonny to name a few. Her album will also feature MIMS, C-Ride and more. This album will take the listener on a journey that they will never forget.
