"The only way I can describe this band is Rage Against The Machine meets Reel Big Fish!" Sandman Magazine

"I love ska and punk. This band provides some fresh input into the genre." Matriot www.stumbleupon.com .

We are Chiggy Chone, a skacore punk outfit founded in the autumn of 2004 by six friends from Sheffield. We have been entertaining crowds throughout the city since January 2005 with our unique fusion of high octane, brass fuelled rock and white knuckle vocals, priding ourselves on arranging and promoting our own DIY shows at numerous venues around town. Our musical influences are drawn mainly from contemporary British ska-punk bands such as Capdown and King Prawn, although the raw energy of the likes of Rage Against The Machine and NOFX provide much of the inspiration in our song writing. After several line-up changes, our debut EP, "A Kick In The Teeth" was recorded over 3 days in May 2006 at Sheffield's Steelworks Studios. Through the blistering speed and catchiness of our tunes combined with our fast paced, energetic live performances we have acquired a loyal following within the local ska/punk scene, and rarely fail to get a crowd dancing wherever we play!
