About Me

I could be your sister.

Your girlfriend.

Your best friend.

Your wife.

Today I could be your 50 year-old mother or your fifteen year-old daughter.

Yesterday I could have been your neighbor, your teacher, your cousin, your hairdresser...

Tomorrow I could be you.

If I'm American, with each 150 seconds that pass, I could be the next victim of sexual assault.

If I'm a woman in Connecticut, I have a 40% chance of being victimized, humiliated a second time, simply by seeking treatment at a publicly-funded emergency room.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Politicians who only pay lip service to protecting women's rights.

Independent Senators who think seeking treatment from strangers for a second time consists entirely of just magically transporting yourself just "a short ride away".

Victim Advocates who think the Catholic Church, not battered teenagers, needs a spokesperson when women are assaulted.

The first man forced to give birth to his rapist's child.

My Blog
