I Know Miss Mikah; She Shakes Her...

And so it goes, and so it goes....Why am I the only one who knows?

About Me

I used to be sane, mainly because I used to have a life--now my life has been given over to working, working and then when I'm done working working some more. Although, I have learned that in life, we must make time to appreciate the finer things. My finer things include men, dancing and taking myself less seriously. Currently, I grow weary of petty relationships with usurious individuals who's only goal in life is to bring me down while raising themselves up. I'm tired people and it's all going to stop. I have graduated and am a lawyer-to-be; I just bought my house and things are coming together. In a new Zen-like reality I am entering I will most likely be spending more time reading and less time worrying about the smaller things. I am now going to give myself over to the tings I've always wanted: helping others and sitting quitely on my back porch, smiling and remembering the sillier things I've done (which by my count, are many)and offer this advice: 1. Never drive when more than three illicitly obtained substances are flowing through your blood stream (or the driver of the car's) 2. Always dance where people can see you do it--and dance like you mean it, none of this rockin back and forth stuff. You know what they say, if you can dance, you can obviously......... 3. Check all bags when crossing multiple foreign borders and Belgians are *not* impressed by French, Americans or crying; though these seem to be swayed by the good ole fashioned dollar. 4. If you're going to live in Amsterdam, leave after 2 weeks, any longer and you may forget you don't already live there. 5. No one is immune to jet lag and if you wanna do something sketchy on a plane, make sure you surround yourself with people that don't speak your language so you can't understand them when they bitch. 6. Don't talk about people, find something better to do with your time, of if you're going to, make sure they can hear you, it's only fun if they can hear you 7. Don't assume anything--cute boys are dirty, dirty boys are fun :), fun boys usually are on medication, medication can be fun

My Interests

Sleeping, which as of late has actually become an interest being that I don't have time for any :) But seriously? My real interests: history (the kind you find in books and museums), culture (the kind you find by traveling to other countries and living amongst the people), books (the kind that contain more than 300 pages and no pictures), music (the kind that speaks to your soul and gives you a voice), dancing (the kind they want to ban on public access television).

I'd like to meet:

Anyone interested in conversation that allows us both to learn new things. Simple. Sane. I'm not impressed by flashy things, I have my own flashy things. I don't care how much you make. I bet you I make more. I don't care what you think I want to hear. I'm interested in *you*, no more, no less. Save the lies, save the drama, save the childish tantrums--I am an adult and I only associate myswelf with other adults.I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
