Raines Platinum Vikettes

Greetings, We are the Platinum Vikettes of William M. Raines High School. Along with the Majorettes and Flags we add color to the Mighty Marching Viking Band. We represent the epitome of dance and style. Our prestigious squad holds many superior ratings in the District as well as State. During the 2006-2007 school year we were the only all black dance line in Jacksonville to receive a SUPERIOR at FBMA Solo and Ensemble. In our plight to entertain we are constantly looking for ways to rise above the "ordinary" look of the other auxiliary squads here in Jacksonville. YES WE SET THE STANDARDS IN DUVAL! While many want to join our squad just to put on a uniform, look pretty, and get in the games for free we take pride in the art of dance. Our goal is to entertain through dance while promoting confidence within ourselves and focusing on our academics.
