About Me

Im Mike, I play drums in 2 bands (Vicious, Temporal Shift) My history includes 4 years with the Mchenry County Youth Orchestras(who preforms at the Raue center 3 times a year and tour in Europe.) Church Band for 4 years(no i dont beleive in god, but it is a good time to practice playing with seasoned mucisians.) I have been expertly trained in Pro-Tools. I am an avid record collector. I dont enjoy school too much, and I am not a real tolerable person when it comes to peoples actions. I tend to keep to myself. I am a politically aware person. I hate posers, trendies and anyone else who is into music just because of the look, the fad, the friends, or the lifestyle. You are a huge disgrace and need to stay out of my and other people's intrests. I hate preps, anyone who is over obsessed with clothes, latest fashion trends and reality tv need to FUCK OFF. You people being part of the future of this country scares the hell out of me. You'll probably make us vote for president by texting A or B on our phones. Old school Thrash/Death/Doom Metal and Punk are my life. I love my woman to death. If you love Nu-metal or really enjoy bands like As I Lay Dying, please dont add or talk to me. your tastes are shit. My Interests

Music, Sudio Production, Politics, Sociology, Theology, Philosophy, Trains(toy and real life.) collecting vinyls. kicking back with a couple of friends and jamming out some tunes.

Music:

Thrash Metal, Crossover, Uk82 Punk, NWOBHM, Anarcho-Punk, Hardcore Punk, 77/Oi Punk, Death metal, Grindcore, First Wave Black Metal, Funk, New Wave, British Invasion, Original Rock n' Roll, Advant Grade Metal, Late 60's Folk, Garage Rock, Alternative, Blues, Doom Metal, Industrial......I try not to limit myself. Country and Rap arent that great, but there are a few artists that i resepct within the realm of those two genres. Nu Metal, New Wave of American Metal, Emo And Post Belladonna Anthrax are the only genres of Music i proudly Hate. My favorite sector of Thrash Metal is probably all the Germanic bands: Living Death, Violent Force, Iron Angel, Kreator, Sodom, Tankard, Exumer, Destruction, Darkness, Holy Moses, Deathrow, Assassin.....etc....

Movies:

Any Classic Zombie movie, James Bond, Animal House, Airplane, Clerks(first one, fuck the second one.) Blues Brothers, Band of Brothers, Meaning of Life, UHF, Super Troopers, Mallrats, Stripes, Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, Die Hard + Die Hard with a Vengeance(3rd one sucked), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Holy Grail, Spaceballs, Airplane!, Club Dread, Star Trek, Star Wars, Dogma, Dirty Harry, M*A*S*H, Repo Man, Music documentaries...i dont remember the rest...Metal a Headbanger's journey is a shitty movie.

Television:

Daily Show, NOT COLBERT(i find him annoying as FUCK.) On a given day, you'll probably see me watching Adult Swim or Keith Olbermann.

Books:

Herman Hesse is fantastic, Beneath the Wheel is a great book, i recomend it to everyone. Stephen King. Any book that analyses political, cultural and social events. Any dis-topian novel is good too (Brave New World, Fahrenhiet 451, Clockwork Orange, 1984) Al Franken and Keith Olbermann are awesome if you are looking for a good bash on O'Reilly and Coulter. Reading books is the only way to get smarter in my opinion, don't read the crap they give you in school.

Heroes:

Frank Haney, Steve Butters, Roger Adler, Billy Rider.....anyone who i have met through my musical career that has pushed me or taught me something new. Anyone who is making a living doing what they truly want to do is an inspiration to me. Tim is a badass and owns the Best(and Only) Record Shop in Mchenry: Vinyl Frontier-1326 N.riverside drive...rGod is not my hero, nor will his image or his son ever be.
