I am here for Friends and Networking

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Fun and interesting people! I like to chat. Be on my friends list!

Music:

My favorites are Nickleback, Jack Ingram, Deirks Bently, Three Doors Down, Codie Prevost, Sugarland, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmie Vaughan, Brooks and Dunn, Toby Keith, Alabama, Jimmy Buffet, L. Skynyrd, Bob Seager, Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Eagles, Beatles, Foo Fighters, Josh Groban, G3 and Andrea Bochelli. There are many more! I know it is a strange combo, but I love it all.

Movies:

Mushy, girly movies! Gone With the Wind, and Pride and Prejudice type stuff.

Television:

Not too much, I'm always working, doing (kid's) homework, at a girl scout function or talkin on the phone (you know who you are!). Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe is always interesting and he is sexiest man on the planet.

Books:

Sorry, no time to sit and read a good book. Listening to a good book on disc while driving is best. You gotta multi task and be in the know with the latest good read.

Heroes:

Jesus my Lord and Savior, Mom and Dad, those Men and Women, past and present, that keep us safe and make this country great, those that try hard and don't give up, regular people with goals in life, and hard workers! No slackers!

My Blog

The genealogy hobby has gotten me into history

I have always been interested in the family tree even as a child.  I would ask questions of my elders and always get "you don't want to know about that" or "it isn't nice to talk about the dead"....
