About Me

Mad Pride is the first great civil liberties mass movement of the 21st Century. Sick of discrimination, marginalisation, crappy medication, being coralled into ghettoes and treated like shit, psychiatric patients are preparing to rise from their death beds and make the world a fit place to live in. And living as we do in a world in which, as the great French poet and madman Antonin Artaud pointed out, every day one eats vagina cooked in green sauce or penis of newborn child whipped and beaten to a pulp, just as it is when plucked from the sex of its mother, madness, though usually very painful, often appears as the only available response to an obscene system. We believe that Mad Pride as a civil liberties issue needs to come to an accommodation with the wider class struggle, for each to reach meaningful fruition. We also believe that this will take place. Watch out world.
