About Me

aww, man...i always wanna fill this up like crazy, but i think i'll go easy:-) i'm angry about injustice, passionate when searching for truth, excited about life, and confused about everything. i care a lot about a lotta stuff, so much that i often find myself overwhelmed by the world.
im easily amused, eager and unsure, lazy but VERY driven, fickle yet grounded. i think there is more beauty than we often take the time to recognize, but at the same time more suffering than we want to realize. im striving to balance and grow right now while i push constantly to make things better, so when i die i dont wonder if i cud have done more to ease all the suffering and wrong...

So You're Living in a Police State!
Stephen Colbert, The Daily Show
PLEASE, in the name of humanity, write a letter or make a call (DAILY) asking your congressperson and senatorS to push for the accomplishment of the Millennium Development Goals, or for impeachment and for them to stop funding the war...and ask your friends to do the same! Think we can't do it? Let me know...and I'll tell you how it's possible (see blogs tho).
If not, do SOMETHING! There is way too much dire and urgent need all around us for us to not constantly push, because we want to think it's too much to attempt or too uncomfortable to confront. The only way anything will change is if we each (and that means YOU!) take the responsibility for this ourselves and act independently at least. To be against the war or poverty or for impeachment is not enough -we must demonstrate our outrage by ACTING!
i go to school, volunteer, and sleep...occassionally watching kids' movies to chill out (and smokin;-)) i love eating, learning, resting, connecting, politics, philosophy, traveling, psychology, exploiting my senses, and meeting and/or helping people. my dad is my best friend and my cat is my pride and joy.
the world leaves me in awe, sumtimes negatively, sumtimes positively, but im always amazed, which i guess is good. im never bored and always searching. but i dig laughing, but i also feel this major pain i feel 4 the world and a need to do more than complain that nothing is working, nothing will work.

My Interests

THIS IS THE COMMERCIAL WE'VE BEEN TRYING TO MAKE FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS. DO WHAT IT SAYS AND HELP US SAVE THE WORLD!

THIS IS WHAT IT WILL LOOK AND SOUND LIKE WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR CALL! HOPE THIS MAKES YOU LESS INTIMIDATED TO ADD YOUR VOICE TO THE CALL FOR MASSIVE CHANGE!

He says wut im feelin well:

"This is the true joy in life, being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; being a force of nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote inself to making you happy.

I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole [world] community, and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.

I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations."

-George Bernard Shaw, Man and Superman

My purpose in life, and wut i believe is the duty of all humans, is to lessen the extreme and unnecessary suffering of the world and trying to help save the people of this country and the world from the dictatorship in power now.

Please help us...we must work extra hard...the movement is not being televised...something's gonna break if we don't hurry...do u feel it too? many of us do...

I'd like to meet:

.. width="425" height="350" ....

I really only hang out with (or seem to have time for) at least moderately-hard core activists, and I won't even date someone who isn't passionate as hell about changing the world and is working toward it all the time. I maintain that if you're not using your luxury wisely to create a better world, or if you don't at least recognize the BS that millions of people suffer horribly and needlessly, than I don't really want much to do with you. Sorry...

I generally dig peepol hoo r respectfull, caring, ambitious, passionate, compassionate, openminded and honest. i wanna b around peepol hoo try to look at peoples souls when they look in their eyes...not so much romance as realness, and patience with my incessant crap...cuz i neglect the people i care about as it is, and people i wanna know just as much. i wanna b around peepol hoo have similar priorities 2 mine and have a little bitta wisdom and ideas of wut theyre about...hoo r flexible, independent, and impulsive. I'm not tryin to hook up purely for sex or a relationship - I don't think I'm meant to be with someone exclusively, since everyone wants either monogamy or a meaningless fuck - just meet ppl; i think everyone has sumthing beautiful to offer. i just want our auras to b able to dance: mosh pit, salsa, macerena, i dont care...but dancing is important... communicating is important: our souls meshing is important - reminds us we're alive and not alone.
